Tyer Comments:
Originated on Western tailwaters, and is starting to make its way East. Can't wait to try it on the steelies! Can also be tied with Gold tinsel and bead.
 
Materials
Hook:Standard Nymph, 14-18 (Mustad 3906B)
Thread:Black 8/0
Bead:Silver
Tail:Pheasant Tail Fibers or Brown Hen Hackle Fibers
Body:Silver Holographic Tincel
Thorax:Peacock Herl
Wing Case:Silver Holographic Tinsel
Hackle:Sparse Hen Hackle
 
Tying Instructions
1)Tie in Tail
2)Build a small base of thread to wrap tinsel. Body should be slender, but needs to be build up slightly
3)Wrap body
4)Tie in wing case material, then wrap peacock thorax
5)Sparsley hackle
6)Tie down wing case
7)whip finish to complete
